Experience

Natalie teaches students from age 5-80. During her teaching career, her students won numerous awards and obtained distinction in the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music exams. She customized lesson plans based on students’ various goals, such as preparing for music exams, competitions, or simply have fun. She is currently offering in-person or virtual lessons.
Teaching philosophy

I specialise in the French and Salzedo method. There are many other methods available and there is no single best, since each has its own pros and cons. Irrespective of the method, good posture and sound optimisation are important to all of them.
My curriculum focus on building strong fundamentals. Students will start with learning how to relax, plucking the strings with sufficient strength, then followed by continuous practices of various etudes, solo pieces, and orchestral excerpts, pop music.
