Harp Services

Pedal Harp Regulation $400

Standard pedal harp regulation include: 

  • General inspection of frame, neck, body, column, action mechanism

  • Changing new slot felt, rubber and pedal felts ($35 value)

  • Replacing pedal caps (+ $6 per cap/ provide your own caps with no extra cost for changing)

  • Tighten pedal brass/feet/base bolt if necessary 

  • Checking and adjusting over movement

  • Checking and adjusting stiff, sluggish, noisy pedals

  • Adjusting spring pressure 

  • Lubricate base mechanism

  • Adjusting stationary nuts and discs

  • Strings centring

  • Adjusting grip

  • Tuning and calibrating the intonation of intervals

  • Noise control (unwanted clicks/ buzzings/ string noise)

  • Test play of the harp to improve sound quality (this service is specially provided)

Lever Harp Regulation $250

Standard lever harp regulation include: 

  • General inspection of frame, neck, body, column, levers

  • Tighten feet/base bolt if necessary 

  • Checking and adjusting lever tightness

  • Changing broken levers (+$20 per lever/ Provide your own lever with no extra cost for changing)

  • String centring

  • Adjusting lever grip

  • Tuning and calibrating the intonation of intervals

  • Noise control (unwanted buzzings/ string noise)

  • Test play of the harp to improve sound quality (this service is specially provided)

Strings Replacing

Pedal Harp 

  • Change of bass wire – $60 

  • Complete restringing – $300 

  • Partial restringing – $30 per octave (you are responsible to replace all the bad and missing strings before regulation, $30 will be charged if more than 8 strings need to be changed)

Lever Harp

  • Bass wire installation – $40 

  • Complete restringing – $200 

  • Partial restringing – $30 per octave (you are responsible to replace all the bad and missing strings before regulation, $30 will be charged if more than 8 strings need to be changed)

​*All price exclude strings, you are responsible to order necessary strings before regulation. I am able to provide strings with an additional 5% markup fee.

Other services $50 up

  • Replace eyelets 

  • Replace pedal rods

  • Lubricate pedal rod tubing assembly

  • Replace of action coupling 

  • Replace broken discs/levers

  • Install pickups

  • Re-solder/ replacing pickups on electric harps

  • Clean/ polish frame wood 

  • Clean/ polish tuning pins 

  • Cosmetic touch up

  • Replacement of loose hardware

  • Adding standard brass plate on the joint of neck and column to prevent future shifting (Lyon and Healy Ogden/Troubadour only)

  • Relocate & re-drill lever position if necessary 

  • Epoxy side rail

  • Zoom/ video call assessment

 

Price: $200/hour labour cost (parts not included)

*A full report will be provided and is confidential. For insurance purpose appraisal, contact your harp manufacturer with the model and serial number.

House Call Fee

One harp: +$150

Two harps: +200 ($100 per harp)

Emergency: $100

 

*House call may not be available in your area. Additional mileage fee may apply.
